Members On Their Own Group
The MOTO group was initiated at the end of July and has made a very positive start with 20 current members signed up. Our inaugural meeting on August 2nd at the Poplar Farm Inn had a queue of people keenly waiting to go in. Since then, we have had a Garden Afternoon, Sunday lunch and a quiz evening at a local pub where the team came joint second. Our second meeting was on September 6th at Dobbies Garden Centre, which is going to be our main meetings base on alternate first Mondays or Wednesday of the month at 14:00, and we have the following events planned so far up until the end of the year.

Members are welcome to put forward their ideas and take it in turns to arrange and organise events. We want this to be a self-help group with everyone taking a turn and being involved so the onus doesn’t fall to the same people all the time. Our aim is to get together and have fun together.
